Lodz Technopark's mission is:

    * to optimally use the economic and intellectual resources of the Region,
    * to increase innovativeness and competitiveness of enterprises of the Region,
    * to increase employment opportunities and to decrease unemployment in the Region,
    * to increase competitiveness of Łódź regional economy,
    * to transfer modern technologies from science to industry,
    * to keep and employ the best educated graduates of higher institutions in the Region.

Polish universities, and especially those universities in Lodz educate highly qualified specialists however, the vast majority of engineers and other university degree holders leave and seek greener pastures elsewhere. Our mission is to stem this tide and help those highly skilled students find attractive employment right here in the centre of Poland. We also hope that Technopark will contribute to the increased innovativeness and competitiveness of enterprises in Lodz.

The commercialisation of modern technologies is essential in the growth of the economy. At the moment, the world is faced with the challenges of searching for new sources of energy and the threat of climate change. There is still a need for more effective drugs to combat disease and illness. We are firmly convinced that right here in Lodz, Poland there are people and companies that are able to rise to the occasion and meet those challenges.
